Mortgage Assistance

At PCB Bank, we understand everyone goes through tough times. That’s why we’re here to help. If you can’t afford your monthly mortgage payments and want to avoid foreclosure, you may be eligible for a loan workout or modification. We determine eligibility on a case-by-case basis, primarily by considering the value of your property and your ability to make monthly mortgage payments based on current income.

If you’re interested in exploring your options, you’ll need to provide the following financial information:

  • Most recent paystub
  • List of current monthly expenses
  • Most recent tax return and/or bank statement
  • Current appraisal report or other property valuation document, if available

To discuss your options to avoid foreclosure, please contact the PCB Bank Residential Mortgage Center at 855-305-3701.

Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

Working in concert with the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), HUD provides a number of programs to assist homeowners struggling with their monthly mortgage payments and at risk of foreclosure. Visit the HUD website for additional information or contact HUD at 800-569-4287 to find a HUD-certified housing counseling agency.

National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA)

Your state housing finance authority (HFA) may also be able to help. These agencies play a central role in the nation’s affordable housing system, delivering financing to help low- and middle-income households purchase, develop, rehabilitate and retain affordable homes and rental apartments. Please visit the NCSHA website to locate your state HFA.

Federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act

The Federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant can enter into a binding contract) or because the applicant obtains all or part of their income from a public assistance program or has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The Federal agency that administers compliance with this law concerning this creditor is the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, National Center for Consumer and Depositor Assistance, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, 1100 Walnut Street, Box #11, Kansas City, MO 64106.

Military Personnel/Servicemembers

If you or your spouse is a member of the military, please contact us immediately. The federal Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and Military Lending Act, as well as comparable state laws afford significant protections and benefits to eligible military service personnel, including protections against foreclosure as well as interest rate relief. For more information and to determine eligibility, please contact the PCB Bank Residential Mortgage Center at 855-305-3701.
